How to resolve InstanceLimitExceeded error of EC2 server by Raj Gupta

If you get an InstanceLimitExceeded error when you try to launch a new instance or restart a stopped instance, you have reached the limit on the number of instances that you can launch in a region

We can request an instance limit increase on a per-region basis by create a ticket with AWS support team .
by default its 20 EC2. Let say we want 100.

1. First go to Support drop down menu then click on Support Center.
2. Then Click on Create Case

3. Click on Service limit increase then in Limit type select EC2 instances

4. Then fill the below as per your requirement

5. Now select the below option as per your requirement click on Submit

Once your request will be approved by AWS Team your new limit will be available with in 30 min.

In the same way you can increase the other AWS services limit also.
